You do not need to have all of the details to make a referral. This form is simply a way to let us know that someone may benefit from a restorative justice process. A member of our team will contact the people involved to learn more about the situation, answer questions, and explore whether a restorative approach may be appropriate.

Participation in restorative justice is always voluntary. Submitting a referral does not guarantee acceptance into the program, and all referrals are reviewed for safety, readiness, and appropriateness. Restorative justice does not replace emergency services, child protection, or criminal justice processes where those responses are required.

Not all referrals to RJ are accepted. We will review the referral form and set up a time to discuss the file with you. This conversation is usually done over the phone or via Microsoft Teams, and takes approximately 15 to 30 minutes.
